Here I am throwing a bunch of simple cups. I’m trying to make each one a little different than the other. Height, width and an ever so slight angle opening or closing the cup. I’m making these to approach the design of a mug in a very different way than I would before. Usually, my design process is from idea to sketch, to 3Dprint to plaster mold or something. Here I am trying to design with my hands and be more in the material. I think this way of designing with the hands is what I’m going to explore more.
