Sew Covers for Kitten Beds - Perfect to cover heating pads for Kitten Season at your local Shelter. Materials Needed: 1.5yd of Flannel (makes 3 complete bed covers) Sewing Machine Scissors Thread Measuring tool (we use cutting mat and rotary bladed in the video) **Construction** 1. Cut the length to 52" 2. Fold in half, lengthwise 3. Cut on the Fold, Length x 7" wide (do not cut the fold) 4. Open the Piece from the fold, turn and fold rights sides together. *You now have 3 pieces, measuring 14" x 52"* 5. With right sides together, Sew each long edge **should look similar to a pillow case now** 6. Fold raw open edge 1/4" to wrong side of fabric, iron 7. Fold again (enclosing raw edges of hem), Iron and topstitch 8. Trim your threads and you're done! 9. Repeat construction with remaining 2 pieces 10. Congrats!
