Il y avait une femme, seule, assise sur un banc, qui n'arrêtait pas de se lever, de faire le tour du banc comme si elle cherchait quelque chose, puis elle se rasseyait. Elle faisait cela sans interruption, en itérations cycliques, parfois ponctuées de longues pauses, durant lesquelles elle tournait la tête, à droite et à gauche, semblant parler à des gens assis à côté d'elle. Mais il n'y avait personne. Ses mouvements, mélange de gestes nerveux suivis de staticité presque parfaite, faisaient penser à la gestuelle si particulière de l'actrice Gena Rowlands dans le film "Une femme sous influence" de John Cassavetes. Ceci a inspiré la chorégraphie et la direction de mouvement des danseuses sur ce film. Les parcs et les jardins sont les témoins immobiles de nos vies, de nos désirs, de nos pensées.  Les fleurs nous regardent, nous écoutent, nous accompagnent, comme des spectateurs discrets de nos aventures intérieures." ENG: "The idea for this film was born during a visit to the botanical garden in Rio de Janeiro. There was a woman, alone, sitting on a bench, who kept getting up, going around the bench as if she was looking for something, and then sitting down again. She did this without interruption, in cyclical iterations, sometimes punctuated by long pauses, during which she turned her head, right and left, seeming to talk to people sitting next to her. But there was no one there. Her movements, a mixture of nervous gestures followed by almost perfect stasis, were reminiscent of the very particular gestures of the actress Gena Rowlands in the film "A Woman Under the Influence" by John Cassavetes. This inspired the choreography and movement direction of the dancers in this film.
