Ready to fry up the perfect turkey without the stress? Here’s your step-by-step guide to safely deep-frying a turkey – from setup to seasoning to that golden, crispy finish. Make one for the holidays or a backyard feast, this video has you covered! 🔪 What You’ll Learn: ✅ Safe Setup – Best equipment, oil, and location for safe frying ✅ Turkey Prep – How to thaw, season, and inject for maximum flavor ✅ Frying Techniques – Get that crispy skin and juicy interior every time ✅ Common Mistakes to Avoid – Fry like a pro without the drama #DeepFriedTurkey #CookingWithNino #TurkeyFryer #FriedTurkeyRecipe #CookingTips #ninoandlo Wet Seasoning for Injection: • 12 shallots • 16 cloves garlic • 1 lb melted clarified butter • 2 Tbsp thyme leaves • 2 Tbsp rosemary • 3 Tbsp sage • 1 Tbsp sea salt • 1 Tbsp black pepper • Vegetable oil (optional) Dry Rub: • 1 Tbsp seasoning salt • 1 Tbsp soy sauce • 1 Tbsp black pepper • 1 Tbsp garlic powder • 1 Tbsp onion powder Directions: STEP 1: Make sure your turkey is fully thawed and dry. Remove any parts from the cavity and pat it dry with paper towels, inside and out. STEP 2: Inject the wet seasoning blend deep into the turkey for that next-level flavor. Rub the outside with the dry rub mix. Place the bird in the frying rack, neck-side down, for easy submersion. STEP 3: Heat oil in your turkey fryer to 325°F. Always fry outdoors in a safe, open area, away from flammable surfaces, and keep a fire extinguisher nearby for safety. STEP 4: Lower the turkey slowly into the hot oil, maintaining the temperature at 325°F. Fry for about 3 minutes per pound. STEP 5: Carefully remove the turkey from the oil and check the internal temperature. The thickest part of the thigh should read 180°F. Let the turkey rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
