Join me on a photography walk through Coldred, a small village in Kent with a surprisingly rich and eerie past. In this episode of my Kent Villages Photography series, I explore this lesser-known location with my Nikon D3200 (entry-level DSLR), capturing its peaceful beauty and peeling back layers of history. Coldred was once home to the Guilford Colliery (1906–1921)—one of Kent’s earliest coal mines. The village pond was reportedly used for witch trials in the 1600s, including the chilling case of Nell Garlinge. And at its heart stands St Pancras Church, featuring one of the oldest bells in Kent, cast around AD 1200. From rural textures and timeless stonework to whispers of a darker past, Coldred is a place worth discovering—camera in hand. 📸 Camera Used: Nikon D3200 (Entry-level DSLR) 📍 Location: Coldred, Kent, England 🗓️ Date Filmed: [Insert date] ➡️ Watch more of my Kent Village Photography series here: • Discovering Kent's Hidden Villages | Phot... 👍 Like, comment & subscribe for more hidden gems in Kent and beyond! -- Donations (all funding goes towards video creation - I do run 4 channels after all 😉): If you enjoy my content on YouTube and would like to support my work, please do consider buying me a 'coffee' through the link below.
