It took me a while to make this, but with the love and support of some great people, I was able to make this video for a "True Warrior." Every bit of thoughts and prayers were put into making this video. You've inspired me so much Rachel to just keep fighting through life's battles. I am honored to have been a part of the Willowbrook High School Family with you. Team Rachel for the win! We're all here to help you win this fight. Take care my fellow warrior sister and I hope you enjoy the video! -Raphie Garcia :) Rachel's Battle: "Willowbrook alumna Rachel M. Gibson, class of 2011, is no stranger to illness. She has had a lifetime of dealing with glycogen storage disease (GSD) -- a condition that results from defects in the processing of glycogen synthesis or breakdown within muscles, liver and other cell types -- but nothing could have prepared her for the news she was given Dec. 18, 2012. Her worst fear came true as the doctor told her she has leukemia. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants at Comer Children's Hospital in Chicago to treat the leukemia. But despite the challenges she has faced, she is extraordinarily positive and has an uncanny ability to focus on what's going well in her life, rather than the negative aspects. Gibson is a sophomore at Elmhurst College and plans to major in communications, with a minor in political science. Her goal is to continue on to law school. Although life has put obstacles in her way, Gibson pushes through them with the help of her family, friends and faith." 3 WAYS YOU CAN HELP HER: 1) Give blood at Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago by calling 1-888-824-0200 (open 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday), or make a general blood donation by calling 773-702-6247 2) Donate to the Leukemia Research Foundation at www.leukemia-research.org 3) Follow Gibson's blog at www.carepages.com (her ID name is firefeetleukemia) NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED MUSIC USED: 1) "Celebrate Tonight" - Allen Stone 2) "Never Alone" - Jim Brickman (feat.
