Kuta, Bali. Tuesday, 11 November 2025. We visited Kuta again to see how things looked after the recent high tide that flooded parts of Kuta Beach Road. Life around Ground Zero Monument seems to have returned to normal, with tourists walking, shopping, and enjoying the area as usual. We turned into Poppies Lane 2, one of Kuta’s most iconic streets, where small shops, cafes, and bars are open and busy. At Beachwalk Mall, everything looks calm, and the area appears mostly unaffected by the recent waves. Kuta Beach Road itself is now safe and dry again. However, some sections of the Kuta Beach pedestrian area show signs of damage from the strong waves. Restoration work seems to be starting soon. Despite that, tourists still visit Kuta Beach to enjoy the cool afternoon by the sea. It was a cloudy day — not the perfect beach weather — but there’s something special about walking along Kuta Beach under the grey sky.
