Official new movie trailer for Dune 3 Plot : It follows Muad'dib, heir to unimaginable power, as he brings to fruition the ancient scheme to create a superbeing ruler among men, not in the heavens. Dune: Part Three is an upcoming epic space opera film directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan. Based on the 1969 novel Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert, it is the sequel to Dune: Part Two (2024) and the third film in Villeneuve's Dune franchise. Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Momoa, and Charlotte Rampling reprise their roles from the prior films, with Isaach De Bankolé and Robert Pattinson joining the cast. Dune: Part Three is scheduled to be released in the United States and Canada on December 18, 2026.
