The Celebrity Ravens of Utah Part 2

A great visit with Jade Goodell and Ogden Nature Center's Celebrity Raven "Cronk." Jade and I began sharing our many experiences with ravens a couple years ago. I was taken with the fact she had devoted the great amount of time needed to work with an older raven (about 20). I had to meet this wonderful girl who made a huge difference by making "Cronks" life special and meaningful! Of course I think you'll see she kind of enjoys it also! But me being on the west coast and her in Ogden Utah, it took a while before we could meet. So, this last road trip in December 2019, Diana and I made a point to get to Ogden to meet with both Jade and "Cronk" at The Ogden Nature Center. Jade, and another handler Rich, were kind enough to share their time and tell us some of their wonderful stories about the challenges of taking care of a raven, and many of the other residents including eagles owls, hawks and more. Join us for a back of the house tour of The Ogden Nature Center, in Utah! I must share, I especially appreciate Jade's work and dedication. Understand she volunteers her time, almost everyday, to make sure "Cronk" leads a healthy and happy life. In fact, Jade just received a certificate of appreciation from the State of Utah for over a 1,000 hours of service! Thanks Jade!
