This video contains detailed information about Five Akal Takhts in Sikhism religion. Each and every Takht is explained in detail. A takht literally means a throne or seat of authority and is a spiritual and temporal centre of Sikhism. There are five Akal Takhts, which are five gurudwaras that have a very special significance for the Sikhs. The first and the most important was established by 6th Guru, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji in 1609, named 'Akal Takht' and is just opposite the gate of The Golden Temple, Amritsar.
