Amber Hertz-Tang, MD, MPH, presents a talk about physician wellness and strategies that health care organizations can take to promote well-being and resilience and prevent physician burnout. Dr. Hertz-Tang is finishing chief residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine as the Bridges Family Endowed Chief Resident. She plans to pursue a fellowship in nephrology. The title of her June 1, 2018 Grand Rounds talk is "Bottom of the Well: How Organizations Can Help Lift Up Our Burned-Out Doctors." University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine Grand Rounds are presented throughout the academic year and are intended for health care professionals and medical researchers.
