I've decided to start offering guitar makers a few basic but essential tools. First and foremost is good fret slotting saw, and this saw is the tool that I've used ever since I starting making guitars and cigar box guitars. Once you've got your fretboard slotted, you need a soft faced hammer to drive the frets in..and this one is just right for the job. A good weight, easy to use, and we supply it with a selection of faces. The standard hard nylon, an extra hard yellow plastic, and a slightly softer brown polyurethane face. This means you can tailor it to your own preferences to suit the way you work. These tools are made in the UK.The saw is made in Sheffield, and the hammer is from Thor (the God of Thunder) in Birmingham.
