Taking our campervan into the big city! In this vlog we experience that rare thing, vanlife in the city, and we chose the magical city of Porto in Portugal #portugal #food #vanlife Here we sample an iconic Portuguese dish that's packed with calories but oh so tasty, and known as a perfect hangover cure - made for us then, basically. We explore the sights and sounds of Porto, after parking our van right next to a tram stop just on the outskirts. This was a real city break on a budget! Before that we headed to Óbidos, known, depending on what you read, as Portugal's prettiest town. But what did we think? We also make a quick stop at the surfing hotspot of Nazare, and remind ourselves that we must make a return trip to see the waves at their biggest if we ever come back. Oh yeah, we also discuss the fact that we use an old Prosecco cork as a water drainage stopper....anyone else do this?!
