Coleridge, Kubla Kahn and Love, and an Haiku by the Japanese poet Basho. In Basho’s Haiku the image of the fool moon is presented near the image of the sea, particulary the movement of the waves of the see. We could imagine the smell of the see during the high moon nights, the waves and the depth of sensual pleasure of the moon light and sea sound. What does Hubla Kahn’s marvelous palace miss? The composition is constructed around the images and the structure of the poems. There are three principal parts, interpolated between them: the part based on Coleridge, one on Basho and an instrumental part at the beginning and at the end of the piece.
