Survive x Spirit Grip Event - Nikko Circuit - February 17th, 2026

On February 17th, I participated in the 10th annual Survive x Spirit running event at Nikko Circuit. I met Hara and Tenshin from Car Shop Glow at Nikko, as well was Yasuda-san in his HKS single turbo, RE FD. It my first time driving Nikko, so it was nice going with friends who drive it often. Hara was able to give me some feedback in the 117 FD that we used to make some setup adjustments on the new dampers, and eventually diagnose some bad bushings in the rear arms. Gained a bit more confidence toward the end of the day that will definitely transfer over to the next time I drive Tsukuba - once I get everything sorted on the car. My best was a 41.52 compared to Hara's 40.9 in the FD.
