Okay, maybe I did miss them a lot more than originally expected nsnsnsn I love how both of these releases have got so much nostalgia in them but they both exude such different energy and trigger drastically different sensations and emotions! The power of music and their music here most specifically is crazy! The pre-release felt like, as an adult, going back to your childhood neighbourhood and walking the streets like you used to and so it is reminding you of the old times and the memories that lay there; and it’s giving this sensation of “ah, I’ve grown so much since” and that is such a powerful and beautiful feeling. There definitely was a sense of taking your flight in this song and a sense of freedom as well, so much so that it brought tears to my eyes! I loved their voices and the symbolisms here and so my heart belongs to this song! My body might belong to HARD though hahahah This is such a fun song, catchy, super first gen inspired but also american dance movies from the 2000 with a bit of classical elements with the piano and voilà! This is no doubt a SM release and so the bridge is divine, I absolutely adore the chorus! I think the piano will have to grow on me but it's not throwing me off or anything thankfully; quite the opposite, I think it gives the song that artistic touch to it!
