So that was really confusing for sure. But anyway, in the end I decided to just listen to the original song and boost the bass a bit. I'm hesitating to do more Metallica cover as there's one thing that really annoys me: the drums. Like I'm sorry but these drum tracks are the absolute worst. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled because all those prog drummers are mega tight, but Lars Ulrich constantly changes tempo. So if I sound a bit out of tempo at times you'll know why. There seems to be a 5BPM drop every time the band returns to the main riff after playing the "fast riff" like at 2:26. Or maybe it's just this song, I don't know.
