Our November 2020 webinar, titled "Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management," (link below) was met with great success amongst our global audience. To further our pressure ulcer education, we were able to collaborate with one of the panelists, Robin Betts, MBA-HM, RN, CPHQ, Vice President, Quality, Clinical Effectiveness & Regulatory Services Kaiser Foundation Health Plan & Hospitals, Northern California, and DeAndre Turner, Clinical Practice Consultant and Hospital-Acquired Pressure Injury Performance Improvement Expert, to illustrate the gaps in pressure ulcer detection and tracking across organizations. The group discusses the current gaps in practice, proper protocols for current state assessments, and recommendations for organizational pressure ulcer tracking and detection improvement.
