Meredith Jenkins' priority is to see the student athletes at Auburn University succeed. She has made a tremendous impact on the lives of these young people, helping them become successful on and off the field. Her contributions as a Title IX Trailblazer are evident in leadership qualities, innovation and passion. Meredith began her career in intercollegiate athletics in 1992 as a graduate assistant in the Sports Information Department at Florida State University. In 1994, Meredith accepted a position at Auburn University as the Assistant Athletics Director of Media Relations. She also served as the Associate Athletics Director of Media Relations at Auburn before moving into her current role as a Senior Associate Athletics Director and the Senior Woman Administrator in 2006. Jenkins oversees the Auburn Sports Medicine Department, all financial aid and housing for our student-athletes, and is responsible for the Auburn University Title IX and EADA Report which ensures that our institution meets the necessary gender equity requirements. She is the liaison for several campus construction products and has overseen the hiring process for three head coaches and more than 30 assistant coaches and support staff. As the Sport Administrator for seven programs, Meredith's influence spans throughout the Athletics Department, Auburn University, and the Auburn community.
