Bachmann 40-140 - "The John Bull" Train pack unboxing and overview

Lucky Swordsman, here is a special video for you! It is not the Rocket but a model designed by the same guy in about the same era. The John Bull locomotive was built by Robert Stephenson & Co. in England for an American railroad company. American railroad were not as well built as British ones. As such, several modifications were made to it to prevent it from derailing over the years including the now famous cow catcher in front of North American locomotive. It is currently the oldest american preserved locomotive. The model itself is quite old, dating back from the 1980s. It is powered by the tender as you can see. However, even with the age it is, it is looking very good and detailed. The main downside is that continuity is an issue as it only pick electricity from the tender wheels. These wheels axels are also very close one to the other and it is a challenge to pass express points. The coaches are simpler. I don't know if it is supposed to be the case or time made that but the glazing is yellow. They are all identical and none of them have an interior. I have 100s of locomotives in my collection.
