I'm making 5 budget friendly portable bisquit meals using items you can find at the Dollar Tree or Walmart. These 10 items would cost $12.50 at the Dollar Tree or less if you have some items on hand and make a fun filling breakfast or lunch for busy on the go days. Grocery List: Sausage Barbeque sauce 2 cans of Biscuits (at least 10 or 2 bags of bisquick of you're shopping at the Dollar Tree) Canned tomatoes in sauce shredded Cheese Peppers and onions Sausage gravy Tuna Eggs Each recipe is a rough estimate, so tweak as desired. All recipes baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and all the bisquits were brushed with an egg wash to help them brown before being baked. Barbeque Bombs: 2 Tbs cooked Sausage 2 tsp Barbeque sauce 2 Biscuits Flatten each biscuit, place 1 heaping tbs sausage and 1 tsp bbq sauce inside, then fold over and crimp the edges. Add verticle slices on the side to allow steam to escape. Pizza Pretzels: 2 Biscuits 1 Tbs chopped Canned tomatoes in sauce 2 Tbs shredded mozzarella 1 Tbs cooked Sausage 1 Tbs Peppers and onions chopped 1 Tbs flour (optional, but helps it not to stick as you roll) Flour your surface. Roll and flatten out each biscuit into a long line. Top with well drained ingredients (use a paper towel for excess moisture). Wrap edges of dough to encase the ingredients like a stuffed crust pizza. Twist each roll into a pretzel design or any design of your choosing. Sausage & Gravy Boats: 2 heaping Tbs cooked Sausage 1 Tbs dry Sausage gravy mix 1/3 cup room temperature water 2 Biscuits Heat the sausage dry gravy mix and sausage together stirring frequently, then add the water and continue stirring until the gravy thickens to desired consistency. Transfer biscuits to your baking sheet, and flatten the middles of each biscuit to make a "boat" for the sausage gravy mixture. Add 1-2 heaping Tbs of the sausage and gravy mixture to each middle. Breakfast Bites: 1 scrambled Egg 2 Biscuits 2 Tbs cooked Sausage 1 slice American Cheese Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and flatten. Scoop 1 tsp of the egg and sausage mixture onto each piece and place a small piece of the American cheese on top. Wrap the dough around, sealing the ingredients inside. Tuna Twists: 2 Biscuits 1 slice of American Cheese 2 Tbs Tuna 1 Tbs Canned Tomatoes in sauce chopped Flatten and roll your biscuit into a rectangle. Place 1 heaping Tbs of tuna and chopped tomatoes and spread on top. Add part of a slice of cheese to each twist. Then twist each rectangle, stuff any pieces of filling that fall out back inside. #biscuitmeals #dollartreemeals #extremegrocerybudgetchallenge #cookwithme #frugalmeals #budgeteats #budgetmeals #extremegrocerybudget #eatingonabudget #rachelreset #rachelresets #portablemeals #dollartree #easymealideas #fastmeals ************************************** Music by Epidemic Sound Video Edited Using CapCut Thumbnails done with Canva ✉️ For Business Inquiries contact Rachel at: rachelresets@yahoo.com
