Sunday grocery shopping in Hilversum, the Netherlands

When I'm in other countries, I always like to visit normal places where people do their everyday things. But I never really considered that my own everyday places are just as interesting. So in this video, I'l take you to my local 'wijkwinkelcentrum' (neighbourhood shopping center), Winkelcentrum Kerkelanden in Hilversum. This shopping center is similar to many others that were built throughout the Netherlands since the 1960's. The shops you see in this video are German discount supermarket Lidl and the biggest Dutch chain, Albert Heijn. Many of the other shops were closed because it was Sunday (December 3 2024)
