The Sportage is kinda idling poorly. It's a bit difficult to show that in a video shot because the camera can't pick up the vibration, so just trust me that the idle kinda sucks. Also, the vehicle has no pick up. I actually thought that's just how this car was, but I was pleasantly surprised to find so much improvement after doing a simple clean of the idle air control valve and throttle body. Anyhow, besides changing spark plugs, this is the other thing you can and should do on any modern fuel injected vehicle to really tune it up and make it run better. So I realize that I skipped a bit of footage in this video on how to take apart the air scoop.
