This was a delightful surprise from our recent trip to Jianshui, Yunnan. While many teaware shops in the area produce similar pieces, Pupu Studio truly stood out — not only for its simplicity and elegance, but also for the thoughtful details in each creation and its gallery-style showroom. I spent an entire afternoon here, exploring designs, textures, and finishes, while wandering through the beautiful three-floor space. The atmosphere was alive — filled with elements of nature: trees, soil, moss, water, koi fish — and, of course, some of the finest artisan teaware crafted by Pupu’s talented team. The highlight? Sharing a cup of sheng puerh with the owner, who warmly welcomed me to experience the space on a deeper level. We’re excited to introduce more pieces we sourced from Pupu Studio soon.
