Same group of people: Mike & Mike (6000csx & CPManJoe), Josh (CSXYN4) and myself Continuing from part 1, we spent the entire afternoon at St. Johnsville (CP207) on the grassy area next to the tracks. Train action remained steady throughout with the usual intermodals/autoracks/Amtrak's passing through. Not much foreign power during this portion of the day except for K068 with an NS and K418 with Canadian Pacific ES44's. However, we received a lot of horn action throughout. After chilling out at the motel for a little while, we made our way east to the Amsterdam, NY Amtrak station for the remainder of the evening. Train action remained busy for the time being. There were some great power to point out. The eastbound Amtrak Maple Leaf P064 had the Big Game unit. Westbound mixed freight Q377 made it way through led by a Union Pacific (also for eastbound mixed freight Q364 later on). Q393 had a safety train boxcar in the cars consist, Eastbound intermodals Q112 went through with BNSF's & Q162 with NS's. It was a great evening. After parting ways with CPManJoe and coming back to the motel, before saying sweet dreams, we watched eastbound oil K040-25 passing by with a CitiRail (CREX) ES44AC and BNSF. More to come on the next part which features the remainder of the train action for next day. *Note: I'm really really NOT GOOD w/ train symbols. I try to get as many as I can through my scanner or asking other railfans around me (if any).*
