Within the Black community, caregiving is deeply rooted in cultural traditions, with many individuals stepping up to care for aging loved ones with chronic illnesses or disabilities. Despite the strong tradition of caregiving, many Black caregivers face unique barriers, such as disparities in healthcare access, financial strain, and systemic racism within medical institutions. These experiences make it crucial to provide culturally competent support tailored to their needs.
