The Torry Hill private railway

The Torry Hill railway is 9” gauge, in Kent, mostly built in the early 1930s, with additions in the 1950s. It's one of the most private lines in the country. No public access. You cannot see it from any publicly accessible land. I was able to visit with the Heywood Society. The locomotives are kept off-site. Miniature Railway magazine carried a very detailed account of the line in issue No. 8 (https://miniature-railway.com/). There are lots of published photos and videos on Youtube so I've added mine. It is a classic private miniature railway, and partly because it's never been open to the public it is pretty much the same as it was 90 or so years ago.
