Sky News US contributor Cameron Stewart says Senator Kamala Harris’ “law and order record” will play well for Joe Biden in the election race against US President Donald Trump. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden announced on Wednesday Kamala Harris as his running mate in the US presidential election. Ms Harris is the first black woman to appear on a major presidential ticket in US history. Mr Stewart told Sky News, Ms Harris “straddles a moderate and liberal wing” and has “quite a strong law and order record.” “That will play well for Biden in the election race against Donald trump because … (Trump is saying that) he will create law and order in the US, (while) democrat cities are letting crimes be committed and they’re trying to defund the police,” Mr Stewart said. “Having Kamala Harris on the ticket with Biden will undermine that attack to some degree.” Image: Getty
