New Year 2013 Gold Purple and Black Gradient Stardust Design Nail Art Tutorial

Found in the "Dark/Neutral" and "Abstract" playlists. Hi! Here's my design for this new year. I didn't want to use the traditional black and silver color combo, so I decided to try purple and black with gold sparkles instead. I rarely make designs inspired by other people's work, but in this case I had seen a blogpicture of a gorgeous design that I decided to use as my inspiration for this design. I wanted to make my own interpretation of the design and created a gradient background with purple/violet and black, then I added some purple nail foil pieces to give some shine to the background and then I added some gold glitter, golden sparkly stars and gold beads to imitate "small stars". The end result reminded me of stardust. With this design I want to wish you all a happy new year 2013!
