Four Emory Labor and Delivery Nurses were fired over the weekend after it was discovered they had filmed a Tik Tok video following the "ick" trend where you say what you don't like about someone or a group of people. The Hospital received complaints about the tik tok, from people claiming they did not feel safe knowing this is what the nurses were saying. With a nursing shortage, it raises the question, is this an offense that deserves firing? Why can't nurses complain about their job when so many others complain about theirs, and why were these nurses in particular targeted for making this Ick Tik tok when the platform is filmed with others who do the same.
