Dorico has been promoted as the official replacement for MakeMusic’s flagship notation application but how good is it really and is it an appropriate cross-grade from the now discontinued Finale? In this video I take a close look at Dorico to examine its strengths and weaknesses and see if its worth switching over to. I tried out Dorico and had a pretty interesting time with it. Sorry for the mediocre sound and loud AC noise in the video as I had a minor microphone incident. I also just recovered from an eye infection, can you tell which eye?? Anything I missed?
