The Xcel Drylock and Drylock X are all about ultimate warmth in the coldest and most extreme conditions, although there are some differences. The standout variance is that the Drylock X has a stitch-free power seam that decreases water entering through the seams which increases warmth, although not as flexible as the glued and blind stitched seams on the Drylock. The Drylock X has an entire Channel Flex exterior while the Drylock has a Channel Flex upper and Ultra Flex lower. Drylock X has a waterproof zipper, and the Drylock, a semi-dry. Same easy entry system with magnetic closure. Moving on to the inside, you can see some more differences. Both have a full Celliant Black lining although the Drylock X has the high pile lining from chest to the knee while the Drylock only has a high pile in the chest and back. The high pile lining is thicker and warmer, although heavier and less flexible the low pile. The Drylock X will be the warmest of the two suits, although it is heavier and not as flexible as the standard Drylock. Learn more at https://xcelwetsuits.co.uk
