I had the opportunity to test the SF90 XX Spider on track. The car is brutally quick in a straight line and explosive out of corners. The steering is hyper-reactive, and the throttle response is very sensitive. Even small inputs translate immediately into movement, so it demands high precision. For me 296 felt more natural. The torque vectoring system is quite aggressive, helping rotate the car but also making it feel very eager and edgy on corner entry and exit. It almost felt like it had rear axle steering system. Brakes left no questions, hard pedal with short travel, felt super nice. Tire pressures climbed to 3.0 bar very quickly, and since I didn’t have the chance to adjust them, I drove the car as it was. I did some small mistakes here an there, and the 12 Cilindri was it the way too, so with good pressures and clear track I'm sure I could go 2 seconds faster. Overall, it’s an INTENSE and fun car to drive, but at the same time it's too sensitive and pretty hard to drive fast, it screams for stickier tires.
