In this summer seaside walk in Horto, Pelion, we begin our journey amidst a breathtaking setting nestled between two picturesque beaches of the Horto village. The scenery is adorned with stunning rock formations both in and out of the water, showcasing incredible clear waters teeming with small fish. We traverse a narrow path leading to a beautiful beach at one end of the village, offering serene and captivating views. As we make our way back to the main beach of Horto, we pass by charming local traditional houses, many of which are rented out as holiday homes. Midway through our walk, we encounter a canal that was partly damaged during last year’s floods in Pelion. Navigating around it, we arrive at the other side of the village where we find traditional taverns serving local delicacies to visitors who enjoy their meals right next to the pristine beach and crystal-clear waters. We take in the stunning views of the bay, observing families bustling in and out of the water, and savor the lively atmosphere. Our walk concludes on a pier, offering panoramic views of Horto village in all its beauty, encapsulating the essence of this charming coastal locale.
