The highlight of the trip was when Quinn landed his first muskie of the year. All of these impressive fish were caught along weed edges using bucktails. Some days in fishing are better than others, and today was definitely one of the good ones. While the size of muskies in Kawartha Lake may not always be the biggest, the opportunity to have a multiple fish day is definitely there. Our bait of choice was the 8" double bucktail, and the muskies were particularly fond of the orange and black color combination.
