After a long time finally its out. A tutorial about boosting big and going massive. Maxing your woo and hitting top of the woo leaderboards. Maxing your surfr and hitting massive jumps. Its been ages since we filmed that footage, but because everyone kept on talking over each other and the whole thing was very chaotic it took ages to sift through the chaos and find some actual useful info. So here we sit down with kitehomiez and analyze the takeoff technique of 5 different riders. There are some good ones and some bad ones. Keep in mind just because someone did a jump in a certain way does not mean they always jump like that, but we picked those jumps because those are perfect opportunities to convey the message we wanted to convey. We analyze perfect takeoff from pro rider Ewan Jaspan and freestyler Antoine then we go onto female kiters. We analyze what makes for a good takeoff for a megaloop and kiteloop - how to keep the line tension. After that we move onto mistimed takeoff we discuss the timing and board game. After that we go onto downwind takeoff, where lot of power stays on the table, and it could be harnessed if the rider turned more upwind in the last moment and do a J-Carve. I hope you guys enjoy and learn. Let's all learn from this and try to get explosive vertical takeoff. Summary is in the end, part two will arrive soon as well where we look at other riders and find common ground and differences. Music from #InAudio: https://inaudio.org/ Mokka - Fast Car
