There was only one company running a tour on that day. We paid $10 USD per person. If you're thinking of taking a tour to Salinas Grandes, there's no need to book in advance, just ask around upon arrival at the bus station. TILCARA Probably the most hipster and lively town in Jujuy, Tilcara is a must see while in Jujuy (many travellers set base here to explore the province). On this occasion we went to Pucara de Tilcara (pre-hispanic archeological site), but if you have time, we also recommend hiking Garganta del Diablo, which culminates in a waterfall.
