This documentary is a story of inspiration, dedication, valor and love, following the life of one soldier while recognizing an entire generation. Captain Scott Alwin, the son of a Wisconsin minister and one of 16 siblings, served as a helicopter pilot with the Army's 68th Assault Helicopter Company during the Vietnam War. During his five tours in Vietnam he was awarded 136 Air Medals, Vietnam Republic Medals, Purple Hearts, Bronze Stars, a Silver Star, and Distinguished Flying Crosses. He also met and married the love of his life while in Vietnam and brought her back to the U.S. with him. This is the story of his life and legacy, and the story of the men of the 68th AHC.
