Before Windows 95 was released, Microsoft had another software program in the works that was designed to make computers easier to use for the novice user. It was released as Microsoft Bob a few months before Windows 95 came out. Bob's interface was designed as a home with rooms that was intended to make users relate to programs and objects more easily. While it may have included some pretty interesting features, it was a commercial failure because it was not accepted very well by consumers. This was mainly due to the fact that the personal guides ask a lot of questions and ask to confirm everything. ========================================== Since this video came out to be an hour long, I have decided to split it up into 2 parts to make it a little easier for you all to watch.
