Hatchet (2006) - Victor Crowley's Origins

Marybeth tells the story of Victor Crowley, a young man who was born with a rare disease that caused deformity. He was kept hidden by his father due to the nature of his disease and as a result, other kids bullied him and were very cruel towards him. One night a group of teenagers throw firecrackers at Victor's house in an attempt to lure him out but they end up inadvertently burning most of the place down. Victor is tragically killed by his father in an accident and so lives the legend and evil of Victor Crowley. He has since killed dozens of poor travelers and innocents alike and is set up to be the main antagonist of the film.
