Rescuing a microbat who was being attacked by a bird: this is Fofo

Fofo is an adult female Gould's Wattled Bat who was rescued out of the beak of a bird. When the lovely MOPs came across the bird with Fofo in its mouth; the bird dropped the micro, who was scooped up and brought home (without getting bitten or scratched). Fofo is fairly feisty and isn't afraid to voice her disapproval on the total lack of satisfaction about her circumstances and how ugly and furless I am. She has a band on her wrist; microbats are too small to band around their tiny thumbs, so they put clips on their radius around the bone near the wrist. I don't know details about why she was banded or by whom; I have to send a snail mail to the PO box number on the band. I might find some info about her, and how long ago she was banded or her age, but I won't know for a while. She has survived for 4 days in care so far and is doing fairly well. I hope for a survivor. Her name Fofo, comes from the Portuguese word for cute. Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for me. Tolga is an awesome place in Far North Queensland, which has charity status.
