TRADING TRADITION FOR A FUTURE P'kondem, a young footballer of 25 years old, living in France and playing in the second division, returns home to Kabye country for a family visit during the Evala period. His family, very much attached to tradition, decides to invite him to participate in the coming of age ceremony. But P’kondem has been forbidden by his football manager so participate, as an injury could put his entire football career at risk.
