Today Monica will be adding some organic looking straight line quilting to her blocks, an excellent quilting exercise for any beginner to add a bit of flair to their patchwork blocks. Monica will be joining those blocks together and showcasing a quilt as you go method with no sashing. Monica calls this method The Traditional Method and has shown this method before on our channel. This method is great for achieving a traditional patchwork quilt aesthetic, but quilt as you go. The seam allowance is perfect for blocks with pointy edges like the Churn Dash and Ohio Star.
