Full Stop. Yes I know what you're thinking HOW CAN SOMEONE SAY SUCH A THING. But for me it really is true. Though Bands like Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins etc. contributed greatly to 90s alternative rock, no other band was so able to deftly combine rock n' roll with house music and spearhead new forms of psychedelic music, without being totally indebted to the past. There are so few artists in this history of music who are able to do this and Primal Scream are just one of those artists for me.
