Red has always been one of my favorite colors, but I find it challenging to work with when painting. When I found this color combination on Pinterest, I thought it was so pretty. After I made the colors and got ready to paint, I was a little less enthusiastic. The green and yellow didn’t look like they would go very well but I was willing to give it a try. As I always say, you don’t know unless you try! The turquoise blue against the deep red is a beautiful contrast and the green and yellow really did add so much to the overall look of the painting.
