Cholelithiasis | Cholesterol specks | Grade 3 Fatty Liver | Cholesterolosis Case 1 Liver: Normal in size shape. Homogeneous parenchymal echo pattern. Intrahepatic vessels appear normal. No evidence of any focal lesion is detected in the liver. Gall Bladder: Normal in size & shape with smooth outline. Wall is mild thickened measuring 3.8mm. There is evidence of echogenic cholesterol specks with reverberations. There is a bright echogenic solid structure is found within the gall bladder lumen casting distal acoustic shadow measuring 1.06 cm. No collection is seen in the pericholecystic area. Porta Hepatis: CBD caliber is within normal limit at his age. No abnormality could be detected within the lumen of the CBD. Portal vein appears normal. Spleen: Mild enlarge in size, regular in shape with smooth outline, Parenchymal echo appears normal. Measuring volume 362ml. (Normal 300ml) Pancreas: Visualized parenchyma appears normal. Main pancreatic duct is not dilated. Both kidney: Normal in size, regular in shape with smooth outline. Cortex & medulla are well differentiated. Central echo-complex is echogenic and normal. No evidence of any focal/diffuse lesion or calculus is detected. Urinary Bladder: Well filled with smooth outline. Wall thickness is within normal limit. No intravesical lesion or calculus is detected. Prostate: Normal in size. It shows homogenous echotexture with smooth and intact capsule. It measures – Volume: 20.73 ml. Cholelithiasis with normal wall thickening. Echogenic cholesterol specks with reverberations anterior wall. Mild splenomegaly. Measuring volume 362ml. (Normal 300ml) Case 2 Liver: Normal in size. Marked increase in echogenicity with poor penetration of posterior segment of right lobe of liver and poor or no visualization of hepatic vessels and diaphragm. No focal hyper or hypo-echoic lesion is seen in the liver. Intrahepatic portion of IVC is normal. Portal vein is normal. Porta-hepatis is normal.
