Nikko Gets Gelded!

Hi everyone! Last Monday, Nikko got the big chop! We bought him as an intact colt with the intention of gelding him as soon as he had settled in. Whilst he is absolutely wonderful as a colt/stallion, he is Saffy’s companion therefore he needed to be gelded so we don’t end up with unnecessary babies. He isn’t registered with either the Falabella society or the AMHA, so even with his wonderful colouring, there’s just no need to produce more unregistered foals. Plus he was beginning to drive Saffy insane by mounting her and then not knowing what to do next! He definitely has little man syndrome. He will now get to live a lovely calm life where he can live with any animal without causing harm.
