Part six of the ’74 Ironhead chopper build is all about getting the rear end dialed in and starting to make it actually look like a bike. This episode starts with the not-so-glamorous but critical stuff — brake setup, rotor swap, and dialing in rear wheel spacing. I take the time to get the chain alignment dead straight and everything centered the right way so it rides as good as it looks. Then the real fabrication begins. I mount the rear fender, cut and shape the brackets, trim the fender to match the tire profile, and start building the stance of the bike. After that, I mock up the sissy bar, weld everything off the bike, and finish it out with some metal work to clean it all up. Lots of cutting, fitting, welding, and grinding in this one. A ton of progress… and still plenty more to go. Ends with the first real sit-test — finally starting to feel like a chopper. If you’re into old Ironheads, chopper builds or garage fabrication this one’s for you. ⸻ 👍 Like the video if you’re following the build 🔔 Subscribe to keep up with the next episode 💬 Drop a comment on what you think! #Ironhead #SportsterChopper #ChopperBuild #GarageBuilt #HarleyDavidson #Hardtail #Fabrication #welding #oldschoolchopper
