From scrambling for food and our hotel being evacuated, to finding ourselves in a cliffside “luxury bunker,” it was the start of a trip we’ll never forget. Once the drama passed, Kauai reminded us why it’s our favourite island and why we chose to spend the most time here compared to the others.
