Today I’m sharing a Winter Special Raw Turmeric Sabzi (Kachi Haldi Recipe) made in a traditional Indian style. This dish is very healthy, flavorful, and immunity boosting, perfect for the winter season. Fresh raw turmeric (250 g) is grated and fried in desi ghee, which reduces its sharpness and enhances the aroma. After that, chopped onions are added along with whole garam spices. Cabbage and green peas are lightly fried to add texture and nutrition. The sabzi is seasoned with coriander powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, crushed garlic, and ginger-garlic paste. For a rich and creamy taste, 150 g of curd (yogurt) is mixed in. Finally, cashews and raisins are added for a royal finish. This recipe uses approximately 250 g of desi ghee and 250 g of raw turmeric.
